SES is a government funded programme for people with health conditions and disabilities who have significant barriers to employment. Referrals are made by the Work Coaches in the jobcentre who also determine eligibility. MTIB delivers SES in Merthyr, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly and Newport for two of 4 providers of SES (Shaw Trust and 3SC/RNC).
SES offers a personalised approach to employment support and your advisor will work with you to identify activities and support needed to assist you to reach your goals. SES support can last up to 12 months and also offers in-work support once you move into employment.
The 3SC SES programme supports individuals who are blind or who have a visual impairment whilst the Shaw Trust programme supports people with any work limiting health condition or disability. MTIB’s advisors are skilled and experienced to work with all participants referred and offers support on an individual basis.
Please contact one of our advisors for more information about SES or any of other programmes.
